2.  What is class 100 clearnroom ?

A class 100 cleanroom maintains less than one hundred particles larger than 0.5 microns in each cubic foot of air space. In addition to particle control, the cleanroom is temperature and humidity controlled to 70F, 45% RH. For comparison, your home has around 300,000 and a hospital operating room has about 1,000.

3.  Where do all these tiny particles come from?

4. What does HEPA stand for?

The term HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air filtration. This is a government standard that means the filter effectively meets the requirement of filtering out 99.97% of all air born particles down to .03 microns in size.

5. What does ULPA stand for?

The term ULPA stands for Ultra Low Penetrating Air. It operate over 99.999 % efficient in removing all airborne particles down to 0.1 micron in size. Only one particles at 0.1 micron in size out of 100,000 ones passes through the ULPA filter (on average).
